So today we are going to do a get ready with me. This was taken on Sunday before I drove down to Denver for photos. I had some time, so I thought I would film and take photos of my morning routine.
I don't always take showers in the morning, they are usually at night. The first step to take a shower is to crank up the jams. I choose my "groovy" playlist from Spotify.
I use the OGX nourishing + coconut milk shampoo. I got a travel size and I actually like it so far. I think once I run out, I'll buy the big bottle. I usually use Aveda products, but they are too expensive for me right now. I still have a little bit conditioner left from them. I like using the scalp benefits because I feel that it really gets the dirt out of your hair. Once this goes out I'll probably switch over to OGX.
I either use a cleanser or an exfoliator in the shower. Sunday I choose to use cleanser. I been using CeraVe Hydrating cleanser for years now. I love it and the price is perfect. I do plan on getting higher end skin care soon since my birthday is in the next few days.
I always shave in the shower as well. I just use a basic razor you get at target. The bath wash I use is Olay. I love the mango scent this one has.
Lets get moving on to my favorite part: make up.
This is the make up routine I have been doing every day for the past couple weeks. It is so easy and doesn't take time at all. Usually takes five mins or less. I always start off by moisturizing. It keeps my face hydrated all day and gives a little glow. I love using this one from Clean & Clear. One of my eyebrows is shorter, so I always have to do my brows. I also feel like doing your brows can make any look 10x better. I use Anastasia Brow Wiz. It's worth the price. My color is taupe. Next, I use brow gel. I use L'Oréal Brow Stylist Plumper in color medium to dark. Lastly, is mascara. I got this Smashbox one for sale during Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty event. I use it so much cause I love it so much.
Now we move on to hair.
Basic hair routine. We blow dry, then straighten. This usually takes the longest cause my hair is so thick and I have so much of it. I have had this blow dryer for years. Its a Hot Shot Tools one. My mom made me switch flat irons with her cause she liked mine better, but this one is just fine. Chi make some of the best flat irons in my opinion. Mine is from the Miss Universe collection.
Next we get dressed.
On Sunday it was kinda hot so I went with this tank top from Old Navy and acid wash jeans from H&M. My sandals are from Payless. They are actually kid shoes, but they fit!
This mini backpack was perfect for my photoshoot. It held my Polaroid camera, wallet, sunglasses, keys and other stuff. I got it from Ross for 15 dollars. Then, I just added a huge white pom pom to make it cuter.
These stylish sunglasses are also from Ross. I got them last summer for a super cheap price. They are rose gold and I am absolutely obsessed. It paired perfectly with my pink top.
Well I hope you guys liked this style of post. The videos were different for me, but I think they turned out okay. Let me know in the comments below if you liked them.
I had a photoshoot on Sunday in a garden center. Last night I started to edit and I am loving them. These are so easy to edit because the lighting was perfect. I'm super stoked for these. I had one final yesterday now only two more to go on Thursday. These next few days I'm going to be studying non stop. On Wednesday I am meeting up with my roommate from last year and I can't wait. Ive been waiting for this day for a whole year! I can't wait to see her beautiful face again. We are having lunch then going to shoot some photos. If your reading this Milan, I can't wait to be with you again. See you tomorrow love!!
Well I better get to studying. I wish all you good luck with your exams if you have any. Have a great day/week everyone! Love you and talk to you soon.
